Dots and Boxes Game

Challenge a friend to a classic dots-and-boxes game.

Four pages: a colorful grid, a titled black-and-white grid, a large plain grid and two smaller boards on one page.

How to use this printable

1. Choose a grid and give each player a different pen or pencil.
2. Take turns joining two neighboring dots with one horizontal or vertical line. Do not draw diagonal lines.
3. When you complete a box, mark it with your initial and take another turn. Once the grid is full, the player with the most boxes wins.

Printing tips

Choose only the pages you need and check the print preview. Print at 100% or Actual Size; use Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Keep all pages for the same craft at the same scale. Print one test copy before preparing a group set.
