Quilled Easter Egg

Fill an egg-shaped base with colorful paper coils for a textured Easter decoration.

What you’ll need

Cardstock, colorful quilling strips, a quilling tool, pencil, scissors, and craft glue.

Your printable

One page with two egg outlines to use as bases or tracing templates.

How to make it

1. Print the template and cut or trace an egg onto sturdy cardstock.

2. Roll strips into loose coils and glue their ends. Pinch one side to make teardrops or opposite sides to make lens shapes.

3. Glue the shapes inside the egg outline, working in small sections and filling the gaps. Leave flat until fully dry.

Top tips

Try a few practice coils first. Use a light amount of glue so the paper shapes keep their form.

Printing tips

Select only the pages you need and check the print preview. Print at Actual Size or 100%; use Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Print one test copy before preparing a group set.
