3D Paper Lion Craft

Build a paper lion with a rolled body that stands up on its own.

Colored cardstock, scissors, pencil, glue, and a black marker.

How to make your craft

1. Trace and cut the body, head, mane layers, ears, nose, and tail pieces.

2. Assemble the ears and face, layer the mane, and add the tail tip. Draw the eyes, mouth, and whisker dots.

3. Roll the body piece into a tube with the curved leg openings at the bottom. Glue the ends together, then attach the head and tail.

Top tips

Use cardstock for a sturdier body and let the seam dry before standing your lion up.

Printing tips

Check the print preview and use Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Print one test copy before preparing a group set. An adult can help with scissors and small pieces.
