Build a Bee Printable Craft

Choose a colorful bee or a black-and-white version to color, then cut and assemble your own little paper pollinator.

What you’ll need

Paper or cardstock, scissors, glue or tape, and crayons or markers for the coloring version.

How to make it

1. Print your chosen version and color the black-and-white pieces if needed.

2. Cut out the bee pieces, keeping the small legs and antennae together on the table so they are easy to find.

3. Use the small finished-bee picture as a guide to attach the head, body, wings, legs, eyes, and antennae.

A little extra fun

Give the finished bee a name or place it in a paper-flower scene.

Printing tips

Check the print preview and print one test copy before preparing a group set. Plain paper is useful for tracing patterns; cardstock makes sturdier cutouts and standing crafts. An adult can help with small pieces and tricky cuts.
