Paper Crab Craft

Make a little paper crab with a folded body that can stand up on its own.

Colored paper, a pencil, scissors, craft glue, and a black marker.

How to make your craft

1. Trace and cut the body circles, six legs, and two claws onto colored paper. Prepare a pair of eyes.

2. Fold both circles in half and glue the smaller one over the larger, aligning the folds. Open the body and glue three legs and a claw on each side of one half.

3. Let the glue dry, fold the body closed, and attach the eyes above the folded edge. Draw a smile and stand your crab up.

Top tips

Attach all legs and claws to the same half of the body. Glue their ends well inside so the pieces stay secure.

Printing tips

Check the print preview and use Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Print one test copy before preparing a group set. An adult can help with scissors and small pieces.
