Paper Poinsettia Wreath

Layer paper petals into poinsettias and arrange them on a wrapped wreath base.

What you’ll need

Colored cardstock, thin cardboard for a wreath ring, burlap ribbon or fabric strips, pencil, scissors, and craft glue.

How to make your craft

1. Cut a cardboard ring and wrap it with ribbon, securing the ends with glue. Trace and cut the flower pieces from the template.

2. For each flower, crease six large petals for the outside. Curve three more large petals and three small petals by overlapping short slits at their bases; glue the petals in layers onto a small paper circle.

3. Add the two crossed center shapes and a crumpled paper center. Make more flowers and leaves, then glue them onto the wreath.

Top tips

Let each petal layer hold before adding the next. Arrange the flowers on the wreath before committing to glue.

Printing tips

Check the print preview and use Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Print one test copy before preparing a group set. An adult can help with scissors and small pieces.
