Mary and Baby Jesus Paper Ornaments

Fold paper into Mary and baby Jesus ornaments, then add faces using the printable template.

What you’ll need

Blue and white paper, cardstock for the faces, yarn, scissors, glue, a hole punch, and colored pencils or markers.

How to make your craft

1. Accordion-fold a blue sheet for Mary and a smaller white piece for baby Jesus. Fold each accordion in half and glue the inner edges together.

2. Tie yarn around each folded piece below the top to form a neck. Add a hanging loop through the top of Mary’s ornament.

3. Cut and decorate the face circles, keeping their tabs. Fold each tab and glue it inside the matching head opening.

Top tips

The PDF provides the faces and tabs; you make the bodies from separate paper. Adjust the neck ties if the face needs more room.

Printing tips

Check the print preview and use Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Print one test copy before preparing a group set. An adult can help with scissors and small pieces.
