Felt Turkey Craft

Sew a felt turkey with a ribbon-loop tail for a Thanksgiving decoration.

What you’ll need

Colored felt, matching thread, a needle, scissors, pencil, ribbon, glue, and a little stuffing or felt scraps.

How to make your craft

1. Cut two body pieces and the details in your chosen size. Stitch the beak, wattle, wings, and eyes onto the front.

2. Sandwich the feet and top tuft between the body layers. Sew around the edge, add a little stuffing before closing, and secure the thread.

3. Make ribbon loops and stitch them onto a small felt semicircle for the tail. Attach the turkey to the tail and add an optional hanging loop.

Top tips

The tail uses separate ribbon. An adult can help with needles, and a small amount of stuffing is enough to keep the shape neat.

Printing tips

Print at 100% for the original pattern size. Keep all pieces at the same scale and check the preview before printing.
