Build a Bat Craft

Assemble a friendly paper bat with wide wings and a happy face.

What you’ll need

Paper or lightweight cardstock, scissors, and a glue stick. Colored paper for a background is optional.

How to use your printable

1. Print the page and cut out the bat parts, keeping the small finished picture as a guide.

2. Lay out the head, body, ears, face pieces, arms, wings, and tail before adding glue.

3. Attach the pieces to one another or glue the bat onto a background sheet. Let it dry before displaying.

Top tips

An adult can pre-cut the smaller parts for younger children. Invite children to name their finished bat.

Printing tips

Check the print preview and choose Actual Size for the original size, or Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Print one test copy before preparing a group set.
