Coloring Puzzles

Color a picture, cut it into puzzle pieces, and put it back together.

What you’ll need

Paper or cardstock, coloring supplies, scissors, and an envelope for storage.

Fifteen picture puzzles featuring familiar objects such as clouds, mittens, shoes, an apple, a bear, and mushrooms.

How to use your printable

1. Choose and color a puzzle before cutting.

2. Cut around the puzzle border and along the internal piece lines, with adult help as needed.

3. Mix the pieces and rebuild the picture. Store each puzzle in its own labeled envelope.

Top tips

Photograph the colored picture before cutting to use as a guide. Cardstock makes pieces easier to handle.

Printing tips

Print only the pages you need. Use Actual Size or 100%, and check the print preview for clipped edges. Print one test copy before making a classroom set.
