Handprint Flamingo Craft

Use a handprint shape to make a bright pink flamingo with feathery wings.

What you’ll need

Colored paper, pencil, scissors, craft glue, a black marker, and optional craft feathers.

One template page with flamingo parts and a hand outline.

How to use your printable

1. Print and trace the pieces onto colored paper. Cut out the parts and use the hand outline or trace your child’s hand.

2. Add the eye and beak to the head. Attach the head and neck to the handprint’s palm, with the fingers forming the tail and thumb pointing down.

3. Glue the legs below the body and add optional feathers along the top for wings. Let dry before displaying.

Top tips

Try different shades of pink for contrast. Keep small pieces together until you are ready to glue.

Printing tips

Select only the pages you need and check the print preview. Print at Actual Size or 100%; use Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Print one test copy before preparing a group set.
