Penguin Valentine Craft

Make a paper penguin with wings that hold a little Valentine heart.

What you’ll need

Colored paper, a pencil, scissors, craft glue, and a black marker.

How to make your craft

1. Trace and cut the template pieces onto your chosen paper colors.

2. Glue the belly and feet to the body. Attach each wing along its outer edge, leaving the inner part free.

3. Add the beak and draw the eyes, then slide a heart beneath the wings. Write a short message on the heart before attaching it.

Top tips

Keep glue away from the inside of the wings so the heart can tuck underneath.

Printing tips

Check the print preview and use Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Print one test copy before preparing a group set. An adult can help with scissors and small pieces.
