Puppy Puppet Craft

Turn the printed puppy pieces into a cheerful stick puppet for stories and pretend play.

What you’ll need

Paper or cardstock, scissors, a glue stick, tape, and a craft stick or paper straw.

How to make your craft

1. Cut out the puppy pieces, keeping the tab below the head and any attachment tabs.

2. Glue the body to the head tab, then add the separate paw and tail using the finished puppy picture as a guide.

3. Tape a craft stick or straw to the back and let the glue dry before putting on a puppet show.

Top tips

Cardstock helps the puppet stay upright. Keep the small finished-puppy illustration as an assembly guide.

Printing tips

Check the print preview and use Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Print one test copy before preparing a group set. An adult can help with scissors and small pieces.
