Popsicle Stick Turkey Craft

Make a turkey stick puppet with a colorful feather tail.

What you’ll need

Colored paper, craft feathers, a popsicle stick, scissors, pencil, glue, and a black marker. Googly eyes are optional.

How to make your craft

1. Choose a template size, then trace and cut the body, beak, wattle, feet, and wings.

2. Glue the wattle, beak, feet, and wings onto the body. Draw eyes or add googly eyes.

3. Glue craft feathers to the back so they fan out above the body, then attach the turkey to a popsicle stick.

Top tips

The feather tail uses separate craft feathers. Let the glue dry fully before waving your puppet.

Printing tips

Check the print preview and use Fit to Page if an edge is clipped. Print one test copy before preparing a group set. An adult can help with scissors and small pieces.
