Color and build a little village with these paper house templates.

What you’ll need

Paper or lightweight cardstock, coloring supplies, scissors, and glue or double-sided tape.

Nine pages with eight decorated house designs and one blank design to customize.

How to use your printable

1. Choose a house and decorate it while the template is flat.

2. Cut around the outside, keeping the glue tabs attached. Crease the marked folds between the walls, roof, and tabs.

3. Fold tabs inward and glue adjoining edges together. Add any separate chimney pieces and let the house dry before arranging your village.

Top tips

Try the folds without glue first. Apply glue sparingly and help younger children with small tabs.

Printing tips

Print only the pages you need. Use Actual Size or 100%, and check the print preview for clipped edges. Print one test copy before making a classroom set.
